Introduction
After setting up an X Cloud account and selecting a plan, administrators can add multiple users to the account, allowing seamless data backups under a centralized system.
🔒 Data Privacy:
- Standard users can only access their own backed-up data.
- Administrators have the ability to manage and access backups from other users (based on permissions).
There are three ways to add users to an X Cloud account:
1️⃣ Manually add users.
2️⃣ Send email invitations to users.
3️⃣ Bulk upload users using a CSV file.
Method 1: Manually Adding Users
📌 Step-by-Step Guide
1️⃣ Log in to your X Cloud Web Console as an administrator.
2️⃣ From the left menu, select Users / Servers.
3️⃣ Click Add Users → Select Manual Add.
4️⃣ Fill in the user details and click Add User.
5️⃣ Go to the Dashboard, click Download Setup, and transfer the setup file to the new user’s device.
6️⃣ Run the installation and sign in using the assigned email and password.
Method 2: Adding Users via Email Invitation
📌 Step-by-Step Guide
1️⃣ Log in to your X Cloud Web Console as an administrator.
2️⃣ From the left menu, select Users / Servers.
3️⃣ Click Add Users → Select Invite by Email.
4️⃣ In the To field, enter the email(s) of the users you want to invite.
5️⃣ Set a Subject for the invitation email.
6️⃣ (Optional) Add a message to include in the email.
7️⃣ Click Add Users to proceed.
8️⃣ In the Account Options window, assign user policies and cloud resource limits if needed.
9️⃣ Click OK to finalize.
📧 What Happens Next?
- The invited users will receive an email from no-reply@xcloud.com with a link to create their X Cloud profile.
- Once the setup is complete, they can download the X Cloud desktop application and start using the service.
Method 3: Bulk Adding Users via CSV File

1️⃣ Log in to your X Cloud Web Console as an administrator.
2️⃣ From the left menu, select Users / Servers.
3️⃣ Click Add Users → Select Multiple Add (CSV).
4️⃣ On your computer, create a CSV file using the provided sample format.
5️⃣ Ensure all user details, including backup settings, are correctly entered.
6️⃣ Upload the CSV file by either:
- Clicking the upload area and selecting the file.
- Dragging and dropping the CSV file into the upload area.
7️⃣ Review the uploaded data for accuracy.
8️⃣ Click Confirm and Add Users to finalize.

- Install the X Cloud application on the added users' devices.
- Activate their accounts using their X Cloud login credentials.
- Users can now start backing up their data securely.
